OctaveBread and Grissini Basket

OCTAVE by Abi Alice is simply made by cutting, bending and welding certain areas of a 18/10 stainless steel sheet, and the result is an elegant table vessel that is suitable for serving bread or grissini. The polished surface highlights the refined simplicity of the object. This project reflects Abi Alice's interest in mathematics and geometry. With OCTAVE, the designer explores the potential of the ellipse to create harmonious and proportioned shapes. In music, an octave is the interval between one note and another. These new objects were created using this ratio corresponding to a musical octave - the inspiration behind the name of the project. Made in Italy
